This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc.. When you access the site, Netlify may process technical information required to deliver and secure the website, including IP addresses and other connection or request data. Netlify's data-processing terms expressly cover customers' website visitors and identify IP addresses as a category of personal data that may be processed when providing the service.
The purpose of this processing is to deliver the website, maintain availability, troubleshoot technical issues, prevent abuse, and protect the website and hosting environment. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where Netlify processes personal data on our behalf in connection with the hosting service, Netlify acts as a processor under its applicable data-processing terms.

Email contact
If you email contact@farop.eu, we process the information you choose to send, which may include your name, email address, message content, attachments, and ordinary email metadata. We use this information to receive, assess, and respond to your inquiry and to manage related business communication.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to perform a contract. For general business inquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in communicating with customers, partners, suppliers, and other interested parties.
Email is provided through Google Workspace. Google processes Workspace customer data under its applicable data-processing terms. Email correspondence is retained only for as long as necessary for the inquiry, the resulting business relationship, or applicable legal, accounting, contractual, or claims-related requirements, and is then deleted or archived as appropriate.
Recipients and international transfers
Personal data may be processed by our service providers where necessary to provide their services, in particular Netlify for website hosting and Google Workspace for email. These providers may use approved subprocessors.
Where personal data are transferred outside the European Economic Area to a country without an applicable adequacy decision, the relevant provider terms provide for transfer safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism, where applicable.
Cookies, analytics, and local fonts
The website code does not use advertising or analytics services and does not intentionally set non-essential tracking cookies or create visitor profiles. Archivo, Chakra Petch, and JetBrains Mono are hosted locally on this website, so loading the site's fonts does not require a connection to Google Fonts or another external font service.

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability where applicable, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
